 Verified After receiving kitchen remodeling quotes in the 40-50k range I decided to take a chance with this company after reading all the positive reviews. Neil came out to see my kitchen and not only did he actually show up, he arrived at the set appointment time..something that seemed to be lacking with other contractors.  Neil looked at the kitchen and gave me several different layouts and designs that none of the other contractors mentioned. I chose my cabinet colors & Neil met me at the Ikea store to place the order online.  Not only did I save a tremendous amount of money, I was able to choose the cabinets of my liking and not be forced to use the small selection from the contractors!  Neil was there every step of the way even suggesting a installer. I have since gone on to do 2 more projects with Neil and will also use his services for my upcoming bathroom projects.  Verified Great experience. Neil met us at IKEA and helped us pick out many of the things that were in our kitchen. However, we did not want to do a strictly IKEA kitchen, so we did work with a designer that we found online/remote. We took the drawings and color schemes from the online designer and Neil helped us to find those items. He also offered suggestions. He placed orders for us, and then he brought in a licensed contractor to get it done. The contractor that we worked with was great! Worth a call if you don't know where to start.  Verified I can not recommend this company enough. To get the most crucial thing out of the way, do not do an Ikea project without them! It's your best bet for a quality outcome. We have had some really rough experiences with our Ikea kitchen to no fault of theirs, and even though the issues we have had are not their problem, they have stuck by my family's side and helped us wherever they could. They have had the most remarkable recommendations that have legitimately saved my projects. Have assisted in ways that you can not do on your own. I will say this; you don't know what you don't know till you are in it. Please do yourself a favor and hire a company that will truly pay for itself 10 times over!

 Verified It is no exaggeration to say that Neil is one of THE ABSOLUTE BEST service providers I have ever worked with!  If you are even thinking about designing a kitchen, office or any other space with Ikea cabinets, hire Neil immediately. I reached out to Neil to help me design a kitchen and a built in media unit and desk using Ikea bases and Semihandmade cabinet and drawer fronts.  He is extremely knowledgeable about all things Ikea and Semihandmade (and he even generously passed along his trade discount for these items).  He will have ideas and suggestions that you would not have thought of on your own.   He is patient, efficient and always answered all of my questions/emails/texts quickly and was able to turn around design edits within hours. He also went above and beyond (a lot beyond) to help me track down out of stock items, even placing orders for me and picking up actual cabinets for me when he was at a particular store.  He also recommended an excellent installer who was able to custom fabricate several cabinets in order to keep my project timeline on schedule.  Neil is a saint and should charge a lot more than he does.  Hurry up and hire him, you won't regret it!

 Verified Neil is a godsend. I seriously can't believe Neil exists. But because he DOES exist, I was able to design, customize, and order the kitchen of my dream at a fraction of the cost anywhere else, in both design fee and in cabinet fee. I knew IKEA was the cheapest option available, but somehow, despite having gone to college, I could not use their online planner. It wasn't intuitive, it didn't make sense, but most of all, since I don't design kitchens for a living, I had no idea what I was doing. Neil met me at my old awful 80's-era kitchen, took measurements, and drew up 3 designs. We worked together to get exactly what I wanted. Since the space was so small, every drawer and every door was thought out. Neil made recommendations that I had never even thought of since, again, I have never designed a kitchen before. He turned the fixes around super fast and we nailed down the design in just a few days. We then met up at IKEA to place the order in person, walking through the list again and checking for errors. I'm sure I would have mis-ordered had I tried to do it myself since there are 8,586 things to order individually, but he double-checked everything. Then, since I was stupid enough to remodel a kitchen during the pandemic kitchen cabinet shortage of 2021, Neil tirelessly worked with me to track every item on the order that was out of stock, both online and in-person. I could not have ordered an IKEA kitchen on my own, and only through working with Neil could I execute the kitchen I wanted. Thank you, Neil!

 Verified Neil did a great job and we love our new kitchen! Not having to worry about measurements and ordering was great and Neil was quick and efficient. I would def recommend him to any friends who wanted to do Ikea cabinetry even if you do custom fronts. He also recommended a great install company that was a better price than Ikea offered it at.  Overall very pleased, and hope to use him again soon for our bathrooms and some closets!

 Verified Having never designed a kitchen but fairly handy, I was looking for someone who could create a vision for what our kitchen could become. Neil Wilson was certainly the right choice for us. Neil met with us in person, asked questions, listened to our answers & wishes, then came up with a beautiful plan. He coordinated with both IKEA and the company that would be building the doors & drawers. As a DIY'r, I assembled the cabinets but Neil was always available when I had questions or concerns. Even with numerous questions, Neil was always pleasant, professional, and patient. I give my highest recommendation for Neil Wilson, owner of DezignBlue.
